Don't rhetorical questions get question marks anymore? Where was I when this was apparently decided? Have you noticed this disturbing trend, which is to say, the deficiency of question marks? Am I overreacting?
I think it may be a teenybopper/LJ thing. At least I can't imagine where else I would have gotten it from. It confused me at first, but I find it neatly underscores any point you may want to make more strongly.

I've decided to start treating all questions like rhetorical questions.
("Do you even know what the word 'rhetorical' means?"
"Do I!?")
I treat all rhetorical questions like I don't know what the word "rhetorical" means!
