I have been extra thinky lately, and I feel a desire to write. Of course, my usual problems with writing still apply, mainly a crippling fear of plot.
So here's what I propose: I'll write a story for you! Yes! You. All you have to do is tell me what story you would like me to tell to you. Then, in the reasonably near future, I will write that story. And ... blog it, I guess.
Open-ended, time-wise. First come, first served. Be as specific as you dare, for I have short-term imagination loss.

BICKLUS!!!
Amy, my birthday isn't even for a few more weeks! This is the awesomest present ever!
Now...what story? Hmm...
Well, there's the Terminator one I'm working on now, that you could re-tell. Although that's still a little fresh, so maybe we should pick something else.
There's the Paul Washington story. I mean, you even penned a section (or two?) of that one. It's about the guy who wakes up in an alternate reality. (Turns out that time has been changed, so that the Nazis won WW2, but certain people are immune to time changes. Paul is one of them.)
Or there's Wolf. Plot: 10% of the world suddenly transform into werewolves. They stay that way for 3 days, then revert back to humans. Next month, they change again - as do anyone that got scratched or bitten the first month. The main character has a family, and is trying to either reunite with them, and/or find a cure for his child(ren?) that are wolves.
Or! There's the Perth story with Phoenix and Jen, the rat. I've got a vague roadmap of where that one is planning on going, but it would be interesting to see where you'd take it based on what you've read of it already. (Plus I'm stuck. Heh.)
Or, if you'd like something completely new, there's this idea I've been thinking about, but haven't written anything down on: "Still Life". Time freezes (like what Hiro can do on Heroes. Or, to state an example you might have actually seen - what Illyria could do on Angel) but the main character, of course, didn't get frozen. Spends some time wandering the city, doing whatever people would do in that type of situation. Weeks pass, he/she figures they're the only person left unfrozen. Until one day they discover a note taped to a car window that reads, "I've been watching you."
Okay, go!
(And really, whatever you pick, even if it's someone else's story, I'm just excited that you are writing. Yay!)
I would like a romance story about vampires, please.
OH FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE.
I was just talking to Jay about this yesterday, about how I want to write but can't create plot, and we decided to create a writing team between the two of us, because he has plot up the wazoo, but then... nothing panned out.
Anyway. I feel you! [/end of anecdata]
Okay, so, easy birthday present for Pat, Near Dark fanfiction for Annika, and Schadenfreude for Lauren. Got it.

That's the best word verification I've seen all day and if it doesn't deserve a story in it's honor, I don't know what does.
I really really need to read a story about cannibalistic time-travelling mermaids.
Do you do fanfic?
Not as such, but that's not to say I couldn't!
I'm just asking because what I *really* want is a story about the Doctor and Rose meeting Steed and Emma. Russell should also somehow be involved. And they could make fun of Twilight.
