This post is still about Harry Potter.
Officially, then, this is how I would rank the Harry Potter films, top to bottom:
1. Prisoner of Azkaban
2. Order of the Phoenix
3. Deathly Hallows
4. Goblet of Fire
5. Philosopher's Stone
6. Chamber of Secrets
7. Half-Blood Prince
Discuss. But mostly corroborate my findings or gtfo. I kid. But really.

I am, frankly, shocked that Goblet of Fire is so low on the list. It is the best movie of the six I have seen, and the only one that makes any damn sense without the book.
I also must admit that I don't really get the love for Prisoner of Azkaban. It is full of magic that was lacking in the first two but otherwise has pretty much nothing going for it as far as I'm concerned.
I might be a little harsh on the Harry Potter movies.
It may help to know that GOF was my least favorite of the books and I found the movie to be a vast improvement.
It should probably be at least number 3, though.
I should also mention that GOF gets points off because while it works as a stand-alone movie, as an adaptation of the information from the book and as the keystone in a seven-part series, it has a lot of problems.
I have serious issues with Order of the Phoenix. I didn't realize it until I rewatched it recently, and I couldn't figure it out until about halfway through.
That whole book is SO. FULL. OF EMOTIONS. Harry does SO. MUCH. YELLING.
And the movie is so quiet. So, so quiet. I love a lot about it, and I think Umbridge was cast perfectly, and the twins were awesome, but... the whole tone of the movie felt off to me.
Also, I really loved Half-Blood Prince. Not so much the book, although I didn't hate it, but I thought the movie was an excellent adaptation of what was basically teen angst and filler.
ANYWAY.
My ranking:
1. Prisoner of Azkaban (obviously)
2. Half-Blood Prince
3. Philosopher's Stone (because it is just so lovely and magical)
4. Deathly Hallows? Maybe?
5. Goblet of Fire
6. Order of the Phoenix
7. Chamber of Secrets
